- Designing custom parts using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoDesk Inventor
- Preparing design drawings for manufacturing

- Conducting pressure tests on microfluidic chips to identify cause of failure
- Performing root cause failure analysis on pumps to determine their suitability for their applications and recommending replacements based on analysis
