Betty is a hardworking individual with a keen interest in the renewable energy industry.  Her engineering degree and co-op work exposure brings a broad range of experience to the EVNA team.

Betty’s passion for green energy and sustainability has shaped her undergraduate education, her career, and her life. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge about the green energy and sustainability industry and finding ways to contribute positively in the industry.
Having worked in various customer service oriented places from a young age, Betty has gained a deep appreciation for customer relations. She has learned to carefully assess customer/client needs and work hard to ensure that their needs are met. Betty continues to prioritize client satisfaction at EVNA Engineering by striving to produce good quality work and meet project deadline

EXPERIENCE

Design/Manufacturing/CAD

  • Designing custom parts using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoDesk Inventor
  • Preparing design drawings for manufacturing
  • 3D printing custom designed parts
  • Creating and updating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams

Software

  • Using coding languages to automate simple mechanical equipment
  • Creating graphical user interfaces for automation projects

Failure analysis

  • Conducting pressure tests on microfluidic chips to identify cause of failure
  • Performing root cause failure analysis on pumps to determine their suitability for their applications and recommending replacements based on analysis

Safety

  • Conducting site surveys of equipment to ensure applicable codes and standards are met

Project Coordination

  • Coordinated projects and assets using a computerized management system
  • Meeting lead with clients and third-party vendors

Technical Writing

  • Co-writing a conference paper on the use of unarmed aerial vehicles in remote conditional monitoring
